About Kabayan Grill
Located at 1634 Front St, East Meadow, NY 11554, Kabayan Grill operates as a filipino restaurant serving East Meadow in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

East Meadow is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and East Meadow follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had my graduation lunch there last minute. Best decision ever it was delicious and they accommodated the big group i brought in. The food came out fast even with the big order. Truly an amazing experience and the food was so delicious. Definitely recommend to go to! My favorites were the pork and chicken BBQ and also Kaldereta with rice. The desserts were very tasty and refreshing. 10/10 would go back again

My family and I have been going to this establishment for years. This place not only serves delicious Filipino dishes, but also does catering services too. From big orders of lechon, to different styles of pancit, this place has a wide variety of Filipino comfort foods as well as other goods, like frozen meats, instant noodles, and snacks. My family tends to come to place for it's breakfast and lunch dishes, like pork adobe, bulalo, and my personal favorite, corned beef silog & bangus sisig.

Kabayan Grill in East Meadow is where Filipino nostalgia meets cozy vibes and heartwarming hospitality. Walking in, you’re greeted by the delicious aroma of Filipino comfort food wafting from the turo-turo counter, where steamy trays of viands sit, ready to tempt even the pickiest eater. The dining area is bright and charming, adorned with festive parols and clean white furniture that invite you to linger. The crispy pata was the undisputed star—crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired perfectly with that tangy soy-vinegar dipping sauce. The Jeprox was a delightful surprise, a salty, crispy treat that transported me straight back to breakfast in the Philippines. And the lumpiang shanghai? Perfectly golden, stuffed generously, and made even better with the sweet chili sauce. Beyond the food, Kabayan Grill stands out because of its people. The staff were warm and accommodating, making you feel like family, and the manager—a cheerful presence behind the counter—was the epitome of Filipino hospitality. He made sure everyone was well taken care of, a touch that elevated the experience from good to great. Whether you’re here for a hefty meal or to stock up on Filipino b

I LOVE the hospitality of Norman! He made us feel like special guests, like family. The wide selection of Filipino food is great. Service is quick and commendable. There are also groceries, bakery items and snacks for sale. Parking is ample. Definitely an authentic Filipino family restaurant to go to when in New York.
